A children’s foundation

Compassionate Hands of God

Every child
deserves
someone in their corner.

Angel Mercy Foundation, Inc. is a children’s foundation. We serve less privileged children and their families with ten practical services — food, school, health, clothing, mentoring, scholarships — given quietly, without conditions, and with the dignity every child is owed.

Our free after-school programs are running now, in five communities in Patani L.G.A., Delta State — with the scholarships and resources that keep those children in school.

Speaking for a child? (682) 448-0178 — a person answers.

What that looks like

A child in school with books of their own. A family with food this week. A mother who is not carrying it alone.

Children

Less privileged children are the whole reason this foundation exists.

What we offer them

Their families

A child is helped best when the people raising them are helped too.

How we work

Widows and their children

Practical support and encouragement for families rebuilding without a partner.

Who we are for

One child
at a time.

Angel Mercy Foundation exists for one group of people: less privileged children. Not a general charity with children somewhere in the list — a foundation whose whole purpose is the child in front of us.

That child may be missing school because there is no money for fees, or going to bed without dinner, or living with a widow who is doing her best alone. Whatever it is, we start there: with the child, and with the family raising them.

We do not ask a family to prove they are poor enough. We ask what the child needs, agree what we can honestly do, and then do it — the same way we would want someone to treat our own child.

That work is running now. Free after-school programs and the scholarships and resources around them reach children in five communities in Patani L.G.A., Delta State, Nigeria — Toru Angiama the newest of them.

A child should never have to wonder whether they matter. Our answer is to show up, again and again, until they know they do.

Why we do this work

Children first

Every decision is measured against one question: does this help the child?

Family alongside

A child is never helped in isolation from the people raising them.

No conditions

No proof of income, no referral, no interview to qualify for kindness.

Compassionate hands

Practical help, offered warmly. Faith in action, not a lecture.

Mission & vision

What we are
here for.

Three statements hold this work together: why we exist for children, the world we are working toward for them, and the words we measure ourselves against. They are short on purpose.

Read mission & vision
01

Our Mission

To lift less privileged children out of hardship with practical, steady help — food, schooling, health care, clothing and encouragement — given with dignity, without conditions, and in the compassionate hands of God.

02

Our Vision

A world where a child’s future is never decided by the family they were born into: where every child we reach grows up fed, healthy, in school, and certain that someone stands with them.

Our Motto

Compassionate Hands of God

Everything on this site — the ten services, the outreach, the way we answer the phone — is meant to look like those words to a child.

Our services

Ten ways we
stand with a child.

Each service below is here for a child who needs it. None of them is means-tested, and none of them requires a family to tell their story to a stranger at a desk. Read down the list, and if one of them sounds like your child — or a child you know — call us. The free after-school programs and the scholarships behind them are running now, in five communities in Patani L.G.A., Delta State.

A family, school, church or neighbor who knows a child that needs help is welcome to reach out on their behalf. You do not need to be the parent to make the first call.

Update · recently at the foundation

A new community
joins the program.

Recently the foundation welcomed the children of Toru Angiama — the fifth community we serve, alongside the four where our free after-school programs were already running in Patani L.G.A.

We launched the free after-school scholarship program for the children there and hired three teachers to put them on the right track to a quality education. The children of Toru Angiama also took part in the Feed The Children program for the first time, and they were very excited to join in.

It is the same promise we make in every community: schooling at no cost, books, writing materials and feeding, and now school uniforms and footwear — with our logo on them. A parent is never asked to pay for any of it.

We return all the glory to God for the success of this program.

Now five communities. Toru Angiama is the newest place these scholarships reach. A gift keeps a child there in school, with books in hand and fed.

Our work, counted

Measured honestly,
reported plainly.

We count what we do for children, and we publish it — to families, to partners, and to anyone who gives us their trust or their time.

Give

Your gift reaches
a child directly.

This is a children’s foundation, so every gift is spent on children. A one-time gift covers something specific this month; a monthly gift lets us keep a child in school for a whole year instead of a term.

Food on the table

Our story

We started with
one child.

Angel Mercy Foundation, Inc. began with a child who needed something ordinary and did not have it — and with the people who decided that was not acceptable. Today we serve less privileged children across ten services, from school fees to medical supplies.

We are governed by a volunteer board, we publish what we count, and we keep the phone answered by a person. What we will never do is make a child feel small for needing help.

Our motto

Compassionate Hands of God

How we are run

A volunteer board, an open annual report, and a standing invitation to our members to ask hard questions.

How to ask for help

If a child you know
needs help, tell us.

You do not have to be sure you qualify, and you do not have to know which service to ask for. If a child you know needs help, call the foundation or send a message through this site and tell us what is happening. You can ask about any of our ten services.

A parent, a relative, a teacher, a pastor or a neighbour can all make that first contact. You do not need documents, a referral or a case number.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the child

A phone call or a short message. What the child needs, and how we can reach you. One sentence is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Ask about any service

Food, school support, health, clothing, medical supplies, mentoring, gifts, scholarships, emergency help, widow outreach. If you are not sure which one fits, say what is happening and we will work it out together.

  3. 03

    We take it from there

Someone from the foundation speaks with you directly, agrees what we can honestly do, and keeps the family in the picture.

All ten services are listed on one page, so you can read what each one covers before you call.

If a child comes to mind while you read this, that is the child we are here for.
